“I captured her, so that makes her ours….”
Jenny Ackerly is devastated when her best friend disappears without a trace. She vows to continue looking for Carly until she can bring her friend home once and for all. During her latest search, her determination turns to horror when she finds a young boy alone on the beach. The Eyes of the Sea Serpent that give him power over the oceans has been stolen. If the loss of the magical stones was not enough of a burden, his oldest son’s bargain with the Sea Witch threatens to seal the devastating fate of the Merpeople – and possibly that of the Seven Kingdoms. He has all but given up hope until a fiery female from another world appears.
Can an unlikely alliance between Jenny and Orion save not only the life of a young boy but an entire Kingdom as well? It will take their combined wits and strengths to survive the evil lurking in the depths of the ocean.
First Awakenings: Project Gliese 581g Book 2
Out Now in Audiobook!
Lieutenant Commander Ashton ‘Ash’ Haze has always embraced two things in his life: adventure and women. He gets more than he expects when he wakes on an alien planet after the experimental spaceship he and his companions are on is pulled through an ancient gateway they have been sent to explore. Now, his priorities have changed – or so he thought.
Kella Ta’Qui is a Turbinta – a race known for their skills as an assassin. Taken from her home as a child, she is trained in the deadly skills as a silent killer. Her first mission is to find and kill whatever was inside the unusual capsule that landed on the small planet of Tesla Terra. Her mission soon turns from one of predator to prey when she finds herself wounded after an encounter with her would-be target. Daze and confused, she stumbles onto others that would sell her to the highest bidder. Despair turns to hope when an unexpected male suddenly appears and carries her to safety.
Ash’s skills from his wayward youth and his training in the Navy come in handy when he discovers a desert city, but nothing prepares him for the impact on his emotions when he comes across a wounded alien woman. His discovery that she knows where a fellow crew member might be, unwittingly thrusts them both into the middle of a civil war between two rival causes.
The fight has begun and the race is on to find the other members before the Legion does. Can an easy-going Navy pilot and an alien assassin work together to reach the location of one of the capsules in the cutthroat Turbintan planet, or will Ash find himself served up to the Legion for the highest number of credits? Whatever happens, the war has begun with the first awakening of the resistance – a resistance that Ash has volunteered to fight with.

You all know how much I love my Guardians of the Galaxy – anyone else waiting with bated breath for GOTG2?! LOL One of my favorite science fiction romance authors, Donna McDonald, is keeping us entertained in the meantime with her new series Aliens in Kilts.
Donna has created a series which happily makes fun of alien abductions, as well as every other SciFi trope out there. Sorry Whovians, Trekkies, those who have the Force strong within them. If you like movies like Galaxy Quest, Spaceballs, or Guardians of the Galaxy, then you’re probably going to like this series.
True love is said to defy time, but can it survive space, aliens, and being abducted? Angus MacNamara and Erin O’Shea are about to find out.
The big blue planet that most call Earth desperately needs matchmakers. There is only one small—okay, BIG—problem. No one wants the alien dating service job. No one. The original matchmakers are dead, and much worse, their DNA is no longer viable for cloning.
Solution? Go back in time to some of Earth’s other—thankfully slower spinning—versions, and retrieve the alternates of the one couple in any universe who seems able to do the job.
Far easier said than done though, especially when the alternates are anything but a loving couple, and both are none too pleased to be thrown into the future.
What does oil and water create? Salad dressing or a real mess of aliens, humans, and matchmaking fun!
