An unusual egg from a faraway world…
Vox D’Rojah thought a father-son weekend would help mend the growing distance between himself and his son, Roam. Not unexpectedly, his plans go predictably off course when Roam invites his best friends—Zohar, Bálint, and Jabir—to tag along for their first intergalactic adventure.
A pit stop at the bustling Madaris Spaceport takes a dangerous turn when Jabir buys a mysterious egg that unintentionally puts them all in the crosshairs of ruthless mercenaries. Things go from bad to worse when Vox is captured, leaving the four boys—and an unexpected new pet—to pull off a daring rescue.
Throughout dangers and chaos, Vox and Roam must confront what it truly means to be family, proving that sometimes, just being yourself is the greatest strength of all.
Don’t miss this action-packed, heartwarming tale of adventure, family, and discovering the magic of connection in this new Dragon Lords of Valdier adventurous journey, and of course, the Dragonlings!

Teaser/Excerpt:

“Oh, yeah! Oh, man, Bálint, look at that Zon Firebreak 381! Did you know it can go to lightspeed in under two mega-parcels and can hold more than a dozen Pactors in just one of its cargo holes?” Jabir exclaimed.

Everyone grew silent and stared at Jabir with a mixture of astonishment and confusion. The teen had always been the quiet one who never seemed interested in anything to do with space. Jabir was like his mother. He loved all things that moved—usually on four legs.

“Yes, well, the *Spirit Rider* was not designed to haul anything more than people,” Vox cautioned.

The last thing he needed was Jabir turning up with a Pactor and the goddess knew what else for their return trip home. He still remembered the fiasco with the Tasiers. Those damn things multiply exponentially and you couldn’t kill them if you tried.

*Well, unless you were a Valdier dragon and decided to eat them.*

The problem was that Mandra had declared them a protected species so they were off the menu. Any known Tasiers were supposed to be returned to the moon they came from, but there were still a few black-market traders around willing to chance the wrath of the Valdier royal family.

“Can we explore—on our own?” Roam asked.

The edge in his son’s voice caused him to grit his teeth. The defiant expression was back on Roam’s face, but he sensed something else… a hint of vulnerability. It wasn’t as if the boys could get into too much trouble—as long as they stayed on the upper levels.

“Sure… as long as you promise to stay on the upper levels. The lower ones are not safe,” he added.
