Ella is the last of a dying breed of humans that live hidden deep in the forests of Washington State. Ty is furious when he discovers that the rancher has placed a trap to capture the creature on government-protected property. His shock soon turns to horror and confusion when he locates the wounded ‘animal’.
Ty finds more than he expects when a human, thought to be extinct, turns up in the trap. What is even more confusing is his bear’s reaction to the female. When word escapes about his discovery, Ty must fight to protect the unusual woman who is more than an oddity – she is his mate!
Can Ty keep Ella alive and safe from a shifter obsessed with adding her to his private collection? Not only that, can he protect her when his own government threatens to take her away from him?
“I am called Ella,” she whispered, lifting her head to stare at him as she pulled the blade from its sheath. “I want you to remember my name, Beast. For I shall haunt your dreams while you sleep.”
“Haunt…. Shit a bloody mosquito,” Ty snarled, landing down in front of her and wrapping his hand around her wrist when she pulled the knife out and turned the sharp tip toward her chest. “What the hell do you think you are doing?”
Ella stared up into his furious eyes, surprise and shock ricocheted through her at the speed at which he had moved. One second he had been on the edge, staring down at her. The next, he was wrapping his massive hand around her wrist. Swallowing, she began to shake.
“Taking my own life, so that you can’t,” she whispered, licking her lips.

I just finished it – it only took a day and a half without much sleep (smile). A WONDERFUL story but now I’m “hankering” for Mitchell’s story – any idea on a tentative date for his story? This is a wonderful start to a new series and I LOVED THIS BOOK.

Yes! Mitchell’s story is next and there will be many more. All of the books will be available in audiobook format.
Also, I loved your original version of a shifter story, it’s a refreshing and engaging change. I eagerly anticipate more of your lovely stories in this series.

Late, late this year IF I can stay focused and get the other stories I’m working on completed. I have his cover! I wish I could hook a machine up to my brain and download everything inside it. That would be soooo much easier! LOL. Reminds me of an old Kurt Russell movie that he made for Disney.

I see in 2018, you’re expecting to do Mitchell’s Mate.. I saw somewhere else that you had a bunch of things happening, physically, which explains why it didn’t come out that year or even the year after. Where are you with it now? Are you writing it? Or still have to do some other books 1st?

I really want to see a story with The Collector. At 1st – when they were by the river and Jayden was watching Ella before she left with Ty, there was a point where Van seemed to sense something. I thought maybe the next book would be about Jayden and Van. Now, I could see it being him just sensing somebody was watching, but the 3rd book would be about The Collector and Jayden. There are so many possible variations.
I’d like to see a book about Van. Definitely want to hear about Baby Bear Claw.

When will Mitchell’s Unwilling Mate-More than human Book 2 will be coming out. I loved this book and one of the reasons were, that you could actually hear the male character getting his pleasure. It’s always the woman, not the man. It’s very sexy to hear a man get pleasure as much as the woman. I truly did enjoy the book and looking forward to Mitchell’s store and then Jada’s. I think her mate might me one of the wolves….hummmm.
